Very good

Small room, but great location,...

Liked: The location is good and the staff are friendly. It is nice that there is a kitchen available to use, although we didn't need to use it. The room, although small and with only a small window was as shown when booking.
Disliked: The shared bathrooms could be somewhat better managed. Not everyone (properly) uses the mop to dry the floor next to the shower after the shower, which was slightly annoying. The room itself had a slightly unpleasant smell, that one wouldn't notice after some time, however I think this is nothing bad as to what could be expected at other accommodations in this price range.

Lovely place to stay in...

Liked: Location and facilities were great, friendly staff and free coffee in the morning, a comfy bed, clean rooms and common areas, good Wi-Fi connection, plenty of food options nearby and close to the downtown.
Disliked: The price - it is quite expensive for a shared room, considering tourist tax and extra fee for towels. But apparently it is a new standard in Barcelona, so this hostel was actually quite a good option.
