Liked: History decor and facilities. staff are lovely accommodating . A good location . pool , gym and spa are good too.
Disliked: breakfast could have been hotter it's usually always lovely and hot but it was cold on this occasion . However it did not spoil our experience as I know this was a one off .

Beautiful place, warm and welcoming...

Liked: What a beautiful place, apparently I was in a refurbished room which was very comfortable, nice and warm, clean. Really nice friendly staff, restaurant looked amazing with all the Christmas decorations. I was very impressed.
Disliked: Although the food was absolutely top class I did think it was right at the top end when it comes to price. It was amazing but if I had been with the missus or children and had to pay for more than one I would have felt it. Especially for one meal.

Lovely stay, exceptionally dog friendly...

Liked: Our stay was lovely, I had a birthday message on arrival and treats for me and our dog! the card to our dog was exceptionally sweet. The staff were welcoming and we extremely well looked after, especially since we had our assistance dog with us. They arranged everything for us and him beforehand so we could enjoy all of the amenities as the other guests would be able too - we were even allowed to the pool with him. This is one of the most dog friendly hotels i have been too.the rooms were clean and comfortable and well decorated and the manor itself was beautiful as were the grounds. They also don't let the parties and weddings interfere with the regular guests which was lovely. I am already planning my next stay. 10 out of 10
Disliked: The continental breakfast was lovely, cooked needs a little work.
