Liked: Room was huge, very spacious.large bathroom.Huge bed.Excellent storage space - chest of drawers, wardrobe.Room was quiet; able to sleep well. Breakfast was plentiful and catered for my dietary needs; gluten free and vegetarian. Customer service was excellent; hosts were friendly, welcoming and stored my large suitcase for the day while I was at Scunthorpe Pride.
Disliked: Hotel could not provide a blanket, were only able to give me an extra duvet. Blankets should be standard in hotels.

Disappointing

Liked: breakfast was ok, the room was very basic, facilities dont work ie light above mirror in bathroom, glasses frovided in the bathroom were dirty, furniture was very basic and shaby.

oh dear!

Liked: nice breakfast with plenty of choice. pleasant breakfast roomvery nice staffvery good bar and venue room and buffet. we were at a 50th birthday celebration
Disliked: the room was very dated and had an unusual aroma , think musty and stale the bathroom although not unclean did not look cleanall in all it needs a revamp, it was very dated/old but not in a good way, would not choose to stay if it weren't for the occassion we were attending.

The price paid was fair...

Liked: Pleasant and simple food very well presented by caring staff.
Disliked: The hotel is old and looking tired. Definitely in need of refurbishment and room and bathroom update.

We have been for a...

Liked: My companion had broken her shoulder and as a result we were immediately upgraded to a suite. The room was comfortably appointed and I found the bed comfortable.The breakfast was superb and the evening meals were also good. We had a family party for nine on the Friday evening and we all enjoyed the meal and had excellent service.
Disliked: My partner could not find comfort in the bed.
