Liked: I absolutely love this resort. Everytime I come to Galena i will be staying here.

Liked: Fireplace, full kitchen, bathtub. Able to use pool at nearby resort.
Disliked: Pool and hot tub were being renovated.

Disliked: The Steam room wasn't available as before, would have like to be able to unwind there!!

Disliked: I didnt like not knowing about the pool not being available until I got there. I purposely picked a hotel with an indoor pool and hot tub. It was nice that the hotel down the street allowed us to use their pool but so not the same.

Liked: Location is close to our family and hotel has some nice amenities.
Disliked: About an hour before we arrived at the property we received an email that we had been downgraded from a one bedroom suite to a one bedroom room. We had paid for the suite in advance and it was non refundable three days prior to our visit. Needless to say we were not happy and the hotel management staff was very attentive with our situation when we arrived at the hotel, but apparently our room had been switched to someone else by the corporate office, and we had already paid for the suite!! I have never had this happen before in all my years of booking hotels and cannot believe it happened. The onsite manager, who was extremely professional, did call and was able to get us a credit difference for a regular room vs a suite for our two day stay but still this was not right.

Disliked: Several slats from blinds were laying on the couch upon arrival. Hidden charges that we told about as we were being checked in. No one at the desk during our stay.
