Cosy and so easy with...
Liked: We stayed here for two nights to celebrate our anniversary. We loved having somewhere so child-friendly to go — we have a 3 year old and 6 month old. Our three year old loved! There are so many areas to play indoors and outdoors. The restaurant menu is awesome for kids (and adults) with toddler and bigger kid portion sizes. We arrived to each meal with colouring set up for our three year old, a toddler chair for her and a comfortable seat for the baby. Daniel, who checked us in on the first night, and Isla in the restaurant, were truly exceptional in their hospitality. We loved swimming in the indoor pool (managed to purchase swim nappies and arm bands) and our eldest had a great time at the Den both with us and then in a supervised session. It’s a beautiful building and we were even given a bigger room than anticipated. In the evening, we enjoyed sitting by the fire with the video baby monitor on, the rooms are close enough that you feel comfortable doing this!

Exceptional
Liked: We had a really great stay at Woolley Grange.Hotel is wonderful, especially as it was decorated ready for Xmas. Location is perfect for visiting Bath. Breakfast and evening dining are excellent, with very helpful staff. It's especially good for those with children and grand-children as the facilities are perfect for young families. Happy to recommend and will definitely be back.

Passable
Liked: The property is very charming and well facilitated for young children
Disliked: The food was incredibly expensive and not good quality. The salmon tartar was not fresh enough so inedible, the breakfast fruit salad had gone fizzy. The breakfast eggs arrived cold on one day, the next day we ordered soft boiled eggs with soldiers but the eggs were over cooked and not at all runny. The whole menu was expensive and non of the food was that good for e.g £25 for a burger.

Friendly staff - welcoming hotel...
Liked: The friendly staff, and quirky decor made for a memorable stay. The hotel was clean, the bed comfortable and the food was good. It was a great place for families with young children, but there were quiet, comfortable lounges to relax in too.
Disliked: The decor was a bit tired.

Exceptional
Liked: Perfect for my granddaughter even in the rain
Disliked: Indoor pool tile very slippery on stairs. I lost my footing & tripped. Consider roughing up the stairs for traction & make the whole facility more amenable to those w/ mobility issues

Good fun for grandparents with...
Liked: Fine hotel with good public space and comfortable sofas, quiet rooms, excellent choice and quality of food, clever division of dining area between areas for those with and without young children, lovely pool and spa, private car parking, friendly staff generally very good and understanding with lively young noisy children.
Disliked: Double beds are on the small side, meal times can be noisy (but it is a family hotel...)

Family friendly but in need...
Liked: Welcoming to babies and dogs.
Disliked: Very slow service in restaurant food under or overcooked. Furnishings extremely tired. Horrid plastic notices everywhere telling guests what to do or not to do. Garden looked as if it needed tending. Not what it was sadly. Room baking, discovered heating on.

The whole place was great...
Liked: The Brreakfast and location were great but our last day the staff couldnt cope with the amount of customers so had a long wait to be served.
Disliked: More kitchen staff so the turn round was better
