Liked: Came to celebrate our father's 90th birthday with extended family. Enjoyed the off-season, which adds a bit more comfort to our stay. Lovely location and staff.

Liked: Location, ski area and pool shuttle, ambience
Disliked: Poor supply of food for breakfasts. Ran out of food. Breakfast overpriced. Poor value.

disappointing for the price you...

Liked: Location is great and the hotel still looks great from the outside. We came here 9 years ago and you can tell there is still something from its best days such as the fire place making it so cozy, the cookie break but...
Disliked: I am going to remain very factual:1/ we had 2 queens and a sofa, cleaning staff suggested we open the sofa ourselves because they were busy (forget about the turn down service....) - you don't come to such a place to open the sofa yourself, We're not sleeping at friends' house2/ tub didn't drain, we asked for it to be fixed, didn't change anything and it looks like we weren't the only bedroom3/ dinner: we went for dinner at 8pm we immediately ordred "house rolls", 30min after we ordered some more they were out of "house rolls" at 8.40pm, took them 1h10min to bring "pasta with butter" and chicken fingers for the kids...4/ not as many chocolate as people in the bedroom: it's a detail but again you come here expecting great thingsOverall a disappointing experience

Magical white Christmas, a dream...

Liked: Spacious, friendly, full of character, everywhere you looked there was a different room! A short walk to the town.
Disliked: Nothing

Somewhat disappointed with hotel but...

Liked: Location. Christmas vibe.
Disliked: Spa services were fully booked despite staying there for 3 days. No heads up to book in advance and when I enquired spa staff were somewhat entitled.Other than the first person we checked in with the front desk staff were rather unhelpful. Had to go off site to use the pool - disappointing and wasn’t shared before arriving. Disappointed with the fireplace room - it was electric and makes a horrible noise the entire time it was on.

Disliked: Nothing. One night our room was not cleaned up or restocked. This was the only thing that went wrong

Liked: Beautiful hotel in the heart of a Chritmas postcard setting. Very comfortable bed and well appointed room
Disliked: They were short staffed at the restaurants
