Disappointing experience at the Woodstock...

Liked: The location was good for where we wanted to be in town.
Disliked: We had issues at the sign in understanding the person at the desk. We then encountered issues getting the door to our room to open with the key card. The lock showed green but the door would not open. The desk person happened to come into the hall and saw we were having issues. It took him several tries but eventually the door did open. We stayed at this location several years ago and it was satisfactory. From the moment we entered the room we were uneasy. The furniture is as basic as it gets, the bed was a small uncomfortable double and the pillows were very thin and there were signs of what looked like sweat staining on the pillows. I checked the washroom and it did not appear that the toilet had been cleaned and there was dirt on the floor and hairs in the sink and shower area.I went to the front desk to complain and possibly get some clean pillow cases but there was no one at the desk. When I went back to the room my wife had discovered a bug in the fridge. That was the final straw for us. We packed up our stuff and went to the front desk and asked for a refund which was given after trying to get us to use a different room which we declined.

Liked: Very dated but clean and convenient

I couldn't sleep in that...

Liked: It wasn't clean environment, key did not work to get in the room, the room was so dark and smells so bad, washroom wasn't clean spotted hair. Parked on the street. Overall. The stuff were nice the place wasn't.
Disliked: The building, room had very strong nasty smell. And wasn't clean enough to stay there. Not comfortable at all
