I don't recommend staying at...

Liked: Location was good for the commute to work. Shopping was close 0.5 to 2 miles away.
Disliked: The rooms had roaches and the floors, walls, bathrooms were not clean and had not be cleaned well for a while. The first room the I was offered had a very sticky floor, smelled like smoke, had bugs, and the door did not close well. The second room I was offered has food in the trash can, roaches running around, food in the refrigerator, and the TV was on like someone had been there a few hours earlier. The third room I was offered, was considered an upgrade, was a two bed room on the first floor. Compared to the other rooms it was much cleaner, and I did not see any roaches on the first inspection. Later, I found roaches in the bathroom, coming out from behind the refrigerator, and on the ceiling. I asked the front desk person for something to kill the roaches with and got a response that maintenance would come and spray the room. I don't believe that happened as I continued to see roaches. In addition to the insect problems, the fire alarm was triggered by guests cooking in their rooms twice during the week. As I was standing outside in the cold with another guest, the person told me that the fire alarms were triggered at least once a week. It took about 30 minutes for the Fire Department to arrive and reset the alarm. The facility is in need of a refresh. The flooring is dirty and lifting up, the room doors and interior facility doors, are worn and don't close well or at all, the bathroom door had a hole in it, the shower to tub valve was stuck in between so water came out of the shower head and tub spout, the refrigerator was rusted, the range top had old grease around it, the walls and ceilings were dusty, and had a greasy residue about the range top.

Worst hotel stay I have...

Liked: I didn't stay/ I left room at 1:36am spent few hours that I was there killing roaches. Killed at least 25 roaches and more than that got away. I had to leave and go to hotel down the street. I came back 12/14 at 10:50am and turned in my keys and requested they check me out. Not to change my card for that 2nd night at all. I was told I had to call manager on Monday. I have called 7x no one answered phone.

Dirty and disgusting

Liked: I did not like anything other than the vending machine having my favorite soda
Disliked: Disgusting, do not turn off your lights at night that's when the roaches come out... especially in the bathroom. A very odd smell permeating through the lobby and 1st floor. Booger covered wall near the head of the bed.This location has horrible communication the front desk is only open a few hours a day making it extremely hard to complain about anything that may be going wrong during your stay.

25 years staying in hotels...

Liked: Not much of anything
Disliked: The room was covered in roaches. Absolutely nasty. Only had two days worth of towels. When I asked for room service, they told me unless I was there for 14 days/2 weeks that they couldn't do room service. I tried to check out at 7:50 AM on my last day and the office was locked. Tried calling 16 times during the day to make sure that they had me checked out and I could not get an answer. I followed the prompts on the phone and still could not get an answer. Spoke with guest relations twice. The first one that I spoke with, tried calling the hotel while I was on hold. They were unable to get anyone from the hotel to answer. Finally, the second person that I spoke with with guest relations, said that they would make sure that I was not charged and that I was checked out. I at least hope that they honored their word.
