Moldy Room and No Elevator...

Disliked: The room had mold smell and they wouldn't give refund when all we did was open the door. I prepaid for the 2nd night as well and they never got back to me. The front door desk clerk didn't have authorization to give me a refund and his mom wasn't going to be in for 2 more days. The elevator was broken as well and he put us on the 4th floor and didn't tell us about it prior to. My husband has a bad hip and there's no way we could've done the stairs.

Liked: Nothing roaches falling off the ceiling
Disliked: The fact that there was roaches walking on the ceiling and walls we came primarily for our sons soccer tournament and we are not picky but this was extremely unsanitary in so many ways we counted 13 roaches and killed as we went we just could not stay there told front desk over the phone and he said he would refund us and when we collected ours things went down stairs the front desk was closed with an odd accordion closure and he was no where to be found called WoodSpring to refund us no one could help because they stated we booked third party then called the next day and spoke to Emily I front desk could not refund us for Friday and refunded only for 2nd night still trying to get our money back so disappointing and shady called booking.com they stated they would contact property still no refund will contact this morning the Wood spring manager to express our complaint and get are refund ….

Liked: The room amenities were perfect for my long term stay. There was plenty of parking and the room was spacious and clean. Air conditioning worked well. Bed, pillows and bedding were comfortable. This is a pretty affordable hotel for this area and few of them have the same room amenities (full size refrigerator and microwave, tub/shower, shelving and storage, tv, desk, wifi) albeit this is a very BASIC setup.
Disliked: This is NOT the hotel for you if you want luxury, concierge treatment, or to feel like you are on vacation. It is more of a residence and many of the people are staying there for months/weeks at a time for work or otherwise. The elevator was broken almost the entire time I was there. It was very inconvenient, especially when checking out of my room and having to carry all of my things over multiple trips up and down the stairs with an injured knee. Bedding was comfortable but had obvious wear and tear. Mostly concerned about how ALL of the outside access doors were unlocked all the time or would not open with a key card. This is a big safety risk as a single female traveler as random people were coming and going in and around the property or hanging out in the parking lot.
