Liked: When I arrived at the hotel, I was told that they cancelled my reservation because they were overbooked. My kids and I could not find a hotel because everything was booked. To make a bad situation worse, they charged my card. When I asked to speak to a manager, I was told that one not available. They finally found me a hotel that charged me $167.00 for one night. The hotel was also in Cary, so I had to drive 30 miles to get there. They told me that I had to contact Booking.com for my refund, but WoodSpring charged my card.
Disliked: The clerk was rude and did not care that they cancelled my room, even though it was guaranteed and paid for in advance. My confirmation number meant nothing. They didn’t care that my children and I were virtually stranded. I still need my money to be refunded. I don’t think that I will use Booking.com again and I intend to contact the BBB.

Disliked: There’s no one at the front desk after a certain time to allow the late checkins, the kiosk wouldn’t work, they have a phone with an extension for “check in issues or facility emergency’s” which I sat on hold with for 15/20 minutes waiting for someones assistance, and the icing on the cake is after talking to someone with the corporate customer service I was told the facility canceled our reservation without notifying or our consent. (Due to us not being there before they left the office at 8 after we called and notified them we would be later for checkin due to the destruction in western NC). And corporate couldn’t reinstate the booking due to the motel itself being privately owned
