Disliked: Could have used a few more pillows and another elevator. At times I waited 3/4 minutes for it. That's a long wait for only a four story hotel.

Disliked: The lack of comfort, ammenities, room smelt like smoke and had cigarette burns by the sink. We walked in and there was already something covering the smoke alarm meaning house keeping doesnt do a thorough job cleaning.

Don't Stay Here!!!!

Disliked: Woodsprings is filthy and it stinks. From the moment we walked into the lobby. The desk clerk told us there was an $1,800 deposit because she thought we were local and she said the locals are the worst. She told us there locals just take off with out paying their bill. We got to our room and it stunk, it seems to come from the A/C unit and the bathroom. The bathroom just smelled like urn and it stunk. The TV remote was greasy, my wife and I couldn't stand to touch it. Parents in the room above us must have left thier kids alone to go somewhere for the evening Saturday night because they were running, jumping and screaming till about 9pm. Someone in cleaning/housekeeping left a huge trash can in the hall that stinks.  There was rotting food and possibly dirty diapers left right in the hall Saturday and Sunday morning. How can anyone stand these conditions? No wonder people leave without notice.I've never been in a place so disgusting. There were crayon markings all over the walls. I'm handicapped and down here for medical appointments at Community Hospital. People there were loud and I don't feel safe. The same front desk clerk was yelling at the maintenance man in public. It should have been taken care of in private. We checked out early, Sunday morning. I will NEVER go back to Woodsprings in Grand Junction.

Disappointing

Liked: Close to the freeway and restaurants. Front desk lady was super nice.
Disliked: I was charged an extra $77.23 3 days later after I already paid the booking fee of $63.06 plus $50 pet deposit (non-refundable) agreed upon check in. Can't get a hold of the hotel front desk. I don't believe they have enough employees.

No room is perfect at...

Liked: We have stayed three times. Location is very convenient. Close to Community Hospital.
Disliked: First room hadn't been serviced, we were moved. Second room smelled like dirty bodies. Needed air freshener, gross. Some of the bedding is dirty, need to be washed more often. The metal bed frame had the same food crumbs and dirt on it that was there last time we stayed in that room. Also nothing has been done about cigarette smoking by the main entrance. The people that do that are capable of wheeling over to the designated smoking area. It's gross. There are also many barking dogs in this place. Quiet at night, not during the day.
