Liked: Beautiful old house with some beautiful original features.
Disliked: I cannot fault the property.

Liked: Room service was slow and also my key card didn't work on occasions.
Disliked: Sorry I like it but as above.

Liked: Striking building and location.
Disliked: Overpriced breakfast with no marmalade available. Waiter got my order wrong.Poky room with no lid for WC in bathroom. Only storage available for own toiletries was above this WC. No explanation available for heating controls in bedroom/bathroom.Bizarre noises in bedroom in middle of the night, possibly made by pipework. Told receptionist who said hotel would respond by email in about five hours. Nothing further heard.Very cold foyer/main hall despite ‘cosy moments indoors’ promised in hotel blurb.

Nice historical building

Liked: Nice historical building with some good period features. Bed linen really crisp and fresh bed super comfy.
Disliked: A few forgotten items and incorrect items at lunch service. Restaurant and bar area lacking in atmosphere given how great the building could be these areas need a re think they feel like a compromised solution like they only remembered to put a bar and restaurant in once they finished the rest of the building
