We enjoyed our stay ....

Liked: Friendly staff. I was able to join classes. Good sized pool. Clean and comfortable. Only downside It was only walkable to small villages ( 1.5 miles) while my husband golfed so if there were any buses stopping near there that would be really helpful to visit Exeter Budleigh salterton or exmouth

Lovely area but disappointed with...

Liked: Clubhouse was not open. Bar staff, with the exception of two excellent people, were less than helpful and not very friendly. We had wanted to watch the 6 nations Rugby and enjoy a nice meal in the clubhouse. This was not possible and as we wanted more than what was on offer at the bar what to go out both nights, which meant one of our party had to drive.

Really enjoyed our stay

Liked: Staff very helpful, especially when we needed to have something sent to the hotel plus the help when our hire car had to be recovered from the hotel. The staff kindly arranged a taxi to take us to collect the car
Disliked: The golf pro shop, most were helpful

Ok for work but wouldn’t...

Liked: Bar and restaurant service needs attention Menu choices and food quality First night food was very good next night very disappointing Chose to dine elsewhere the third evening

Liked: Had a wonderful time relaxing clean. The only problem was we just wanted some chips one kitchen was closed and they would only let us take away.

Nice location pity you can’t...

Liked: The clubhouse has a lovely outdoor area with wonderful views but closes for food late afternoon and refused to serve drinks to people unless they were playing bingo, it didn’t matter that I was staying at the hotel. The restaurant in the hotel lacks atmosphere.
