Liked: Room was clean and comfortable. Staff on arrival were very helpful.
Disliked: Very slow service at breakfast made me late for my treatment in the spa.The jacuzzi was cold and couldn't be used, I was disappointed.

Disliked: Despite calling twice before booking no mention was made that the steam room and jacuzzi were out of action, I felt it should have been clearly communicated prior to booking that the facilities were unavailable as it would have made us reconsider, it felt disingenuous to be informed at arrival that they were "still out of service" implying it had been that way for some time

Liked: Dinner in the restaurant was excellent.
Disliked: Opening my door was a challenge. It would be a good idea, I think for staff showing people to their room to give a demonstration of how to open the door. There is a trick to it which guests need to know about. I understand that the door mechanism is to replaced throughout the hotel quite soon.
