Liked: A fantastic base for solo travellers wishing to discover Rutland. The room was very good with all the expected amenities. The bathroom was on another level and was luxurious. The staff were most helpful and friendly. There was always enough space in the car park.

Great stay, would stay again...

Liked: Bedroom and facilities all very clean and comfortable enough. Great location and vibe. The limited interaction I had with staff was very pleasant.
Disliked: Small mistake with the payment as I ended up paying twice but one was quickly refunded so no big deal. The bath squeaked a lot when standing in it for a shower.

Liked: ,Location is perfect to Rutland . Oakham is a delightful and extremely interesting town . The hotel is very welcoming , staff very friendly and informative . Food , well what can I say apart from WONDERFUL. Despite a heating problem staff made sure our room was cosy .
Disliked: Nothing , but feel our bedroom needed a little TLC , and updating .Bathroom should remove bath and put in a walk in shower . Us oldies struggle a little stepping into a bath ! New carpet ?

Liked: Practically everything as usual.
Disliked: And this is the reason for the slight markdown on 'facilities'. The car park is really tight and the situation isn't helped by the hotel maintaining a space right at the entrance of the car park which should be removed imho.
