Relaxing place, with extensive, beautifully...

Liked: The meals were very nice and plentiful, but served early and there is no way to get snacks or keep food in your room for a meal after the 6:00 dinner if you are prone to eating later in the evening. There is an excellent German Brauhaus just minutes away, tho!
Disliked: The whole house and individual bed rooms are decorated in quite an antiquated, rather worn out fashion. Things were neat and tidy, but it felt as tho we were staying at someone's grandmother's farmhouse.

Liked: It was quaint and remote
Disliked: That after asking for a room where I didn't need to climb stairs, they didn't have one available, although I had gotten a confirmation from Booking.com that they would be able to accommodate my request.

Good

Liked: Rooms were clean staff was polite. Inn was quiet at night. Grounds are well maintained and pool is in good condition. Many nice hikes availible.
Disliked: Hotel did not have a reservation for us when I arrived and was unaware we were coming. I provided booking.com confirmation number and luckily they still had a room available. There was no television in the room. The website says your price includes breakfast lunch and dinner but we were told we could only have breakfast.

Nice Convenient Place to Stay...

Liked: The location was excellent for the place I was visiting. Parking was great. Quiet. A very nice family friendly place. Has a pool, tennis court. Staff was friendly and attentive. Dinner was free and good (a bit salty for my taste). Personalized place card for seating was a very nice touch. Rooms were clean. Nightly bonfire. I would stay there again
Disliked: While very quaint, rooms were a little dated. It looks like they updated the bathrooms recently. beds were ok but very springy and could have been better. Rooms were spacious but no TV or mini fridge. Not important to me but might be important with a family traveling with children. There is a common TV and mini fridge. The road I had to take was unpaved(good thing I had a 4-wheel drive truck, but maybe because the place I was coming from was remote. There are other paved roads I might have taken but not the fact of the property.

Liked: The outside area was great,the food was good our waitress was great. Meals were well organized. Lot to do outside
Disliked: Both beds were very noisy due to broken base mattresses. The bath tub would not hold water due to the water stop broken or disconnected. Could use a little more cleaning. The indoor pool was in rubble a major construction problem.
