Disliked: Didn't like that we were packing up and getting ready to check out and maid service just marched in no knock on door. What if I would of been dressing. Shame on them

Liked: What a great hotel located in a very convenient spot, central to everything and close enough to Buc-ees for those fanatics. The staff was a great mix of polite and friendly. The room was clean and very comfortable, although the sheets were stained. The pool was nice and refreshing but the hot tub stole the show, or maybe my body just needed that warmth to relax in. Breakfast was a nice little surprise with hot foods such as eggs, potatoes, and sausage, plus the usual fare for a Continental Breakfast such as waffles, cold cereals, breads, fruits, etc. I will definitely plan on coming back for another stay when I'm going to be in New Braunfels. I also recommend staying here as well.

Liked: I asked for a 1st or 2nd floor...y'all were kind enough to accommodate. Here's where it gets a bit askew. My wife and I were staying in room 100...we found out it's directly across the hall from the cleaning crew... delightful folk I'm sure, however; they fail to realize when they are in full working mode, full voice conversations at 6am...there are people trying to sleep. It was absolutely ridiculous...y'all need to educate your staff on hours of courtesy and sleep respect.

Liked: The room was very clean and much larger than a normal room. There was no carpet, so it was great for allergies and had no funky odors. The hotel has an indoor pool as well.My spouse said that breakfast was quite good. Staff was helpful and pleasant. The beds were comfy. The heating and cooling system was a little dated but worked well and was quiet. I would definitely stay here again. It is a good value!
Disliked: The location is easy to reach and very convenient to everything, but it is right next to the hiway, so it was a little noisy for sleeping. I was woken up by police sirens a couple of times. I also prefer a step in shower instead of a tub, but that's just me...

What's that smell?!!

Liked: The breakfast and rooms were nice.
Disliked: I didn't like how when you walked into the hotel, it had a bad odor, I didn't like the fact that the blow dryer didn't work and there were no accommodations in place. The staff was very dry and flat as far as their personalities. They were like robots.
