Liked: The Wingate at Claytor Lake is clean,comfortable, the staff is awesome. The lady that works mornings is redhead she is the hardest worker ever! The electric went of for 16plus hours they still maintained an awesome professional safe stay!! Thank you Wingate

A very terrible and embarrassing...

Liked: Didn't accept locals!! My water pipes froze at my house and all I wanted was to get a couple rooms for the night so my kiddos could take a hot shower before going to school the next day. Very unfair to be turned away like some kind of "trouble maker"
Disliked: Could have given me the two rooms I booked and was going to pay for with hard earned money. My family was turned away and treated like scum.

Liked: I think the property is very nice, clean, & would recommend to anyone looking for a room to stay if they hadn’t double charged me for a 6 hour stay!
Disliked: They charged me $155 for a 6 hour stay
