I booked this hotel online and paid in advance. When I checked in the girl at the front desk asked for my credit card then proceeded to swipe it, before telling me what she was charging me for. After I asked she told me they would hold $30 and return it in five days. When I logged into my bank account two days later, I noticed three different charges. They said we were smoking in the room. I don't smoke, and neither do the other two people that were there with me. That weekend the hotel was filled with rave kids and the whole floor smelled like marijuana and they said we smoked in the room. I tried to discuss the situation but the person who answered would not listen to me and hung up on me. I guess this is how the hotel makes their money, by stealing it from guests.

Good close cheap option to...

Liked: It was close to universal and had a shuttle to the park (but we didn’t use it)… Uber was more convenient for timing for us. Staff were friendly and free breakfast so can’t complain. Price was pretty good
Disliked: Older property but just a regular hotel needed for sleep so it was just fine

Trash.

Liked: Close to universal studios.
Disliked: The lovely surprise 400 feet after I left for only 3 nights. Crazy.

Solo birthday trip

Liked: The location was very good and close to everything. The bed was very very comfortable and not too much noise in the hallways like the other location so I loved it. Breakfast was really nice also
Disliked: When I checked in the toilet was clogged but the fixed it right away so that was good and I found hair on the bathroom floor and beer bottle covers underneath the table in the room.
