Really no complaints. We would go back! Only thing would be if the light blocking curtains were full size that would be nice. No full cover blinds woke us up earlier than would have liked.
Liked: Clean rooms; nice staff; great breakfast.
Disliked: Bubbles didn't work in the jacuzzi.

No hospitality, No communication
Liked: I got in at 1:30pm, knowing check in was at 3pm, but I was in the car for hours with family and wanted to let them know we were in town. The front desk associate asked what I needed and when I told him I had a reservation and my name he said "Mam, why are you here? Check in is at 3pm." I let him know I understood and and told him I was traveling. I asked if he would call when the room was ready. He said no, to just show up at 3 and my room would be ready. (I have worked in hospitality for years and I will say the front desk associate should NOT be working there. He was not hospitable at all and he is the first person any customer sees when walking in the door. He had headphones in and was on his cell phone/computer)Anywho, while this was going on, my husband had to use the restroom. My kids and I were waiting in the lobby by the purple cushioned couch and let me tell you- the upholstery on every single chair in that hotel was worn and falling apart. There were stains on the chairs and ripped cushions. To top it all off, the only reason why we booked this hotel was because it was in location where we wanted to explore and there was an indoor pool for the kids, which are 4 and 6. Pool was closed. I was never told by the front desk associate when attempting to check in. Two other teenage girls were dressed and ready to swim and asked what was going on. The front desk associate said the pool was down for mechanical issues and would be down for 4 days at least. Again, no communication. At this point my whole family is upset and mad. We ended up calling Wyndham Oceanfront directly and let them know what happened. They gave us a discount on a room.In all this, as we were traveling to the new hotel, I tried calling Wingate by Wyndham multiple times and kept getting the operator. I waited 15 minutes at one point and no answer. I was trying to let them know we would not be checking in. At this point I had already put in a complaint through Booking.

Will not stay at this...
Liked: The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable.
Disliked: The web pics looked a lot better than in person. Furnishings in main lobby were old and very worn . The shower, was just a hot sprinkle. Disappointed with that. The bathroom door kept hitting the toilet, could not be opened all the way. Breakfast was nothing to be excited about. The 4th floor where we stayed, reeked of weed.
