Wingate by Wyndham Canton-Hall of Fame, Canton

When I walked into the room, I was shocked at how unclean it seemed. It looked like the carpet hadn't been vaccumed, the tv had bad reception, the faucet in the dining area barely had any pressure. The outside looked neglected with weeds growing everywhere. It seemed very old and outdated and run down. Even though we had a smoker's room, I thought they could have at least tried to spray some air freshener. I was unhappy with the room. The staff however was very polite.

Very clean. Pleasant staff. When told staff about the problems with my room, they upgraded for no extra charge.

I would definitely stay again

Liked: We got the jacuzzi suite and it was really nice and put together and a pretty big room. The bed was comfortable and the jacuzzi was amazing.
Disliked: The bath tub had a small bit of dirt in it and the paint was cracked and chipping, there was barely any shampoo and conditioner. Hot tub was closed.

Disliked: First room we had was a jacuzzi from. The tub was rusty. The door lock was dented and the internal door into the bedroom had a huge hole like someone kicked it in and it smell like weed walking in and smoke in the room. They were nice enough to give us a better room but the bathroom was so narrow I had to enter sideways and my knees hit the wall when I sat in the toilet. The bed was lumpy

Liked: I was happy the pool was open and beds were comfortable. Breakfast was convenient.
Disliked: Our shower was broken and staff was not helpful. The pool had 4 working lights in the area. It has pebble like concrete that the pebbled were coming up and in the pool and the hot tub had a peice of plywood partially covering it.

Liked: Check in was smooth. Staff did respond quickly when needed. Other than the bathroom, our king suite had plenty of space and was clean. Breakfast was available as promised.
Disliked: We had to request someone come up and clean the bathroom immediately after getting to our room. There was an ugly black ring around the tub. I was able to use tissue to wipe at it, so that tells me there was no attempt to clean the bathroom at all prior to our arrival. Also the bathroom was very small with no room to move around. In addition, despite no smoking allowed signs posted everywhere, there was a consistent smell of very loud marijuana throughout the hotel during our 3 day stay. This location does not maintain the standard one would expect from a Wyndham Hotel.
