Liked: We absolutely loved this faithfully restored hotel dating back to 1874 with lots of original features and details. The service was also excellent. This is everything but an anonymous hotel franchise but oozes authenticity and character.
Disliked: Maybe the spongy pillows could be improved up on but it is a minor detail.

Exceptional

Liked: We didn’t know there was a breakfast. That was our only disappointment.

Liked: This is an historic building that was refurbished to reflect it’s original status from the 1880’s with modern amenities The restaurant is top end matching the quality of a major city
Disliked: Nothing the stay was great and the staff very friendly helpful and professional

A joy to stay in...

Liked: This is an old 'grand dame' of a hotel that has been lovingly and expertly restored. Walking into an 1873 hotel that looks as nice as it can get is a true joy. The front desk staff was pleasant and informative. Walking around the hallways and sitting rooms shows a wealth of history and beauty. And then there is the fantastic restaurant with its amazing wine, cocktail, beer, cider and NA drink list. I would highly encourage a stop here if you have the time to appreciate it and not hurry onward.
