Liked: The history. The architecture.

Classic

Liked: In the heart of downtown, they have retained much of the 1890s charm but updated it with the standard modern amenities. Pillows soft, water hot, staff friendly, all the bases covered with class.
Disliked: Parking is on the street. There is ample free street parking but folks should be aware.

Beautiful hotel, nice rooms, comfortable...

Disliked: For the price you pay you should offer complimentary breakfast

It was ok. Not what...

Liked: Location was close to restaurants and shopping. The bed was comfortable.
Disliked: Bathrooms are in much need of updating, the tiles in the tub/shower combo were mildewed and the curtain was old. There wasn't any offerings of bottled water, etc. when checking in and the signs that point you to vending and ice lead you to an ice machine only.

A beautiful stroll back in...

Liked: We stayed in the presidential room and it was beautiful. We loved the 360 degree view. We ate dinner at Rosemary and Thyme (on the 2nd floor) which was amazing. We enjoyed the balcony overlooking the city, and explored the hotel and tried out the winery attached to it. Lots to see and do.
