Liked: SHOWER WORKED WELL. FRONT DOOR AND ROOM KEYS EASY TO OPERATE.OWNER HELPFUL AND SORTED OUT PROBLEM WITH TV
Disliked: DOUBLE BED IN FAMILY/TRIPPLE ROOM A BIT NARROW - NEITHER OF US IS A LARGE PERSON, THERE LOOKS TO BE ENOUGH SPACE TO FIT IN A FULL SIZED DOUBLE BED.

Very pleasant and enjoyed the...

Liked: Host was very welcoming. No breakfast. Had booked quadruple room but on arrival upgraded to apartment. Good size room. Centre town location. If anything amiss, informed host and he would fix it.
Disliked: The shower was only lukewarm, so let it run for a bit but to no effect. Made host aware of this for future guests. As only stayed 1 night this wasn’t a problem. Maybe toiletries could be provided.

Liked: Very close to the centre. The staff was lovely and really helpful.
Disliked: The mattress wasn’t really comfortable, but just because was quite soft.Also, when we booked, it said something about breakfast, but there was no breakfast room nor was offered to us.

Lovely hosts, brilliant location, rooms...

Liked: The hosts of the hotel were lovely. Helped us with anything we needed. So so friendly. The beds were clean and comfortable and the toilet and shower were clean too. Location was absolutely perfect especially as I have arthritis and can't walk very far.
Disliked: I'm hoping this feedback will help the hosts to make their their hotel go from ok to fabulous. As we stepped through the door we were overpowered with what smelt like pine toilet cleaner. Not pleasant for us, but maybe a more subtle air freshener needed?...The carpets looked clean enough and weren't sticky or threadbare. The main thing the staff could work on is the white paintwork like skirting boards and woodwork and light switches. These were very dusty and quite grubby in places. If a little more time was spent cleaning each room, we wouldn't hesitate come back and staying every year. As it is, with us have young children, we need a room with better cleanliness. If you do sort out these areas please let us know as we will book up straight away for next year.

If the floors a thoroughly...

Liked: The size of the accomodation and ensuite was good. Cleanliness bedding. Friendly lady met on arrival. Staff polite and friendly. Closer to most activities. The property in itself reminds you of history with unique winding staircase.
Disliked: Carpet was old and you could smell it. I am not sure if there was a burst waste pipe somewhere closer but there was a strong smell of public toilet as you went up. I believe the property had issues with pipes because the Manager ( Maintenance guy), although he was polite, kept coming to our bathroom to look at pipes. He eventually asked us to use next room bathroom. On the last night he knocked at midnight because he wanted to look at the bathroom pipes
