Disliked: They literally gave us a room I had to clean myself bc it was not at all even vacuumed and it had no actual latch for the door let alone a lock it was ridiculous.

Liked: We stayed during hurricane helene, the staff was very friendly & accommodating even though the power was out during check in & check out.
Disliked: The power never came back on while we were there, we had no power nor hot water (and the room had a leak over the window) but had paid full price anyway so I asked the young man at check out if he could put us on the books for a discount at a later date & he said yes he could & would & apologized for any inconvenience. When I tried to go back at a later date I was told that no one there would have told me that because the hotel wouldn't owe me anything because the situation was due to an act of nature & no discount would be honored even though I was told I could have one. As someone who works in customer service this upsets me because even if the first guy was wrong in saying so the second guy should have honored it, even if they just waived a cleaning fee or something it would have been better the sorry about your luck attitude I got from the second guy...
