Fantastic!

Liked: Willowhill House is one of the most charming and comfortable places we stayed in in Ireland. The hosts, Claire and Chris, were so welcoming and considerate. Breakfast was sumptious - fruits and cereals and yogurts, fruit juice, tea and coffee, plus toast etc and a full cooked breakfast. The house itself is a wonderful Georgean country house, full of history. The decor was delightful and the gardens beautiful. We consider ourselves very lucky to have stayed in Willowhill House and to have met the lovely Claire and Chris.
Disliked: Nothing :)

Liked: Ideal location. Wonderful welcome from Claire and Chris. A home from home. Delicious breakfast and tea/coffee on arrival. Loved it!

Lovely hosts in a great...

Liked: Our hosts were lovely. Tea offered during our check-in was very thoughtful and hit the spot. Breakfast was very good each day--thanks Chris! Claire gave some great tips on seeing the local sites. Lovely pastoral view from our room.
Disliked: The towels and carpets could do with a refresh. Other than that, everything was very nice. The only place in Ireland that we stayed that had a top sheet! Being able to open the windows was nice to get some fresh air.

Liked: Hosts were very warm and welcoming, even when we arrived late at night. Breakfasts were delicious and the area is beautiful.

A charming historic home with...

Liked: We loved the ambiance of this beautiful family home and the care of Chris and Clare who welcomed us like family.
Disliked: There was nothing we didn’t like. It’s certainly an older home full of history and art but it’s very gracious. If you want super modern it’s not for you. We felt very at home

Liked: The welcome and hospitality from Chris & Claire. The charm of the house and gardens. The comfort and attention to detail. The great breakfast and most welcome herbal tea before bedtime. The location in the beautiful Cork countryside.
Disliked: Nothing - we loved it

Wonderful hosts and beautiful property

Liked: The hosts were wonderful. We did send them a message letting them know we would be late and they graciously accommodated. Breakfast we quite good traditional Irish food. The property/location were grand.
