Very good

Liked: Great location for vacation, very nice room and facilities.
Disliked: I wanted to sleep in on a couple of days, but cleaning and or maid service made loud noises and loud voices in the hallway outside of our door waking us up.. Apparently the linen closet door (right outside our door) was being held open for the workers to easily get in and out without unlocking or unlatching the door every time. The way they held the door open caused a constant metal to metal banging noise when the door shut.

Liked: We booked a room on our way to NC for Christmas, the website redirected us to Virginia instead of West Virginia. I didn’t notice until it was too late. When we put address in our GPS we were 4 hours away. I canceled as soon as I discovered the mistake. We would appreciate a refund. It was an honest mistake on both ends. Thank you for your consideration on this matter.

Not worth the money. After...

Liked: The location was great.
Disliked: Even though we pre-paid they charged us for a deposit which equaled to one night 360.00 and did not let us know they were going to, then said it was for incidentals, so we used that thinking it would cover our dinner and they charged that separately and we will not get our money back for 5 business days. We also got a deluxe king and were out in the back of the hotel by the loading docks. View was awful and it was very loud. Will not stay there again.

As a Lifetime Silver Elite,...

Liked: Location.
Disliked: Dirty bathroom and shower, plumbing fixtures in disrepair including paint chipping off the ceiling, what looked like mold in the grout and clearly a moldy shower curtain. Did not meet expectations for an Autograph Collection at a high premium cost per night. Marriott should downgrade this hotel to a much lower tier hotel. It a good value for the money especially when you have stayed at other Autograph Collection properties. As a Lifetime Silver Elite and prior to COVID a Titanium Elite, I’ve stayed in a lot of Marriott properties and the Williamsburg Lodge is, in my opinion, bottom 3. The hotel coffered an apology and points equivalent to one night stay. We didn’t feel that made up for the awful condition of the bathroom. A disappointing 3 night stay at over $1300 room costs.
