Set on 2 acres of gardens and fruit orchards William Mackintosh Motor Lodge offers an on-site restaurant and a bar. All rooms feature a flat-screen TV with cable channels. Some also feature a spa bath. Located in the heart of the Limestone Coast William Mackintosh Motor Lodge is 15 minutes' drive from the UNESCO World Heritage listed Naracoorte Caves National Park. The Coonawarra Wine Region is 30 minutes' drive away. All air-conditioned rooms offer a mini bar electric blankets and tea/coffee making facilities. Each room includes a private bathroom with a shower and a hairdryer. Highlander Restaurant serves international cuisine and dishes such as smoked salmon and steak. What we expected

Liked: easy check in and out. Despite being on the main road the room was quiet and we slept well

Highly recommend!

Liked: Very welcoming staff, nice and quiet location, spacious and extremely clean room with all the necessary: fridge, microwave, toiletries and a kettle as well. We didn't try the restaurant unfortunately. You can park right in front of your room, which is very convenient. Very beautiful environment around :)
Disliked: We were very happy with everything and we highly recommend the place! :)

Convenient and comfortable

Liked: Great location by the highway, yet quiet.We enjoyed the garden vista from our upgraded room.Dinner was delicious and the serves generous.All staff were wonderful.The bed was very comfortable and the shower hot with good water pressure.

Comfortable and a great location...

Liked: Easy parking and quiet despite being on the main road. Comfortable beds and lovely shower.
Disliked: Although there was a microwave there was no crockery or cutlery besides mugs, glasses and teaspoons.
