Loved the area and Wildes...

Liked: absolutely loved the location, we went and walked around the town when we arrived and enjoyed it very much. Unfortunately we were a little tired so rather than go to the pub for dinner we stayed in
Disliked: if the restaurant was open downstairs we would have gone but completely understandable the reasons that it only opens a few nights

Nice location, good sized rooms,...

Liked: Location. Spacious room, nicely decorated.
Disliked: Our room was noisy. Room 12 is above the kitchen and when in operation there is a lot of noise from the extractor fan below. Luckily this ended about 9.30-10.00pm, but cranked up at 6am again!

Disliked: No microwave facilities in the room and Television couldn’t be turned to have a good view from bed.

Liked: Room was nice - ours had missing light fixtures and a few stains but overall looked good.
Disliked: Staff were incredibly rude. When we arrived 4 staff members sat in reception on their phones chatting and didn’t acknowledge us. Tried to call down to get the wifi code at 9pm and the girl was so incredibly rude, told me it ‘wasn’t her problem I didn’t know the wifi code and as it was a public holiday (new years day) she couldn’t help me. Surely you’d expect to be busier on public holidays given you are a hotel???’ wouldn’t stay again because of this girl.

Very nice rooms (mostly) and...

Liked: Very good breakfast which was included in our rate. Beds were very comfortable.
Disliked: We booked three rooms for our party of 8 family members. Two of our rooms were very good. The third room (no 25) was one equipped for guests with special needs (which we don't have) whereby the motorized bathroom door only worked as manual door which required more effort to open due to the mechanism. The bathroom shelf of that room was too small to hold all toiletries and there was a moldy spot on the bathroom ceiling. We would stay in this hotel again any time.
