Lovely olde world charm, great...

Liked: The 3 bedroom cottage was huge and very nicely maintained inside with lovely olde world charm. Amenities were all great, especially the breakfast supplies.
Disliked: Communication disappointing with no response to phone calls or 2 messages via Booking.com or direct email asking about check in process or early check in. Message to mobile was responded to however.Some outside maintenance required particularly the thorny shrubs growing into the verandah which is a especially concerning with kids in the group. Also, larger of the living areas had limited natural lighting and only 1 bulb (of 3) in each of the light fittings so was very dark so we chose to stay in the smaller area near main kitchen.

Liked: Everything for us was laid out perfectly
Disliked: furniture needs to be changed, sofas and dinigtable was worn off. There were lot of cobwebs. Tv could use an upgrade, in today's time smart tv should have been installed. Lights in the entire department were very dull and some of them weren't working. I paid nearly $300 for the night. I expected better looking apartment.

Brilliant space to get our...

Liked: Lots and lots of things! The space was excellent, the beds were very comfortable, the space was very clean, the breakfast provided was fabulous, the car parking was great, and dinner at the restaurant was lovely.
Disliked: We would have liked the keys to the windows to be able to open them, it would have been nice if the bird poo on the outdoor fencing was cleaned off and the kitchen chairs could do with replacing.

Nice location, bit worn, and...

Liked: Nice cottage with beautiful view across the vines. Complimentary wine tasting and breakfast foods provided in the cottage were a nice touch. The cottage itself was comfortable although furniture was quite worn in places. The spa bath and outside deck were a highlight.
Disliked: Food in the restaurant was really nice but service from the kitchen was incredibly slow. While front of house staff were friendly and tried their best, food seemed to be coming out in batches by dish across the restaurant as opposed to by table which meant one of our party had finished their meal by the time everyone else got theirs. The restaurant was not busy but by 8pm all tables appeared a bit fed up with the wait and left, including ourselves. Some aspects of the cottage could have been cleaner (eg., table, need to move sofa when cleaning floors)

Disliked: The room had quite an old musty odour

Disliked: Would have been good if we had an invitation to wine tasting to be clear that this service was complimentary

Disappointed with non-availability of Wifi...

Liked: Location was good and the restaurant food was great. The unit was spacious with enough space for the kids.
Disliked: 'Free Wi-fi' not available: Despite repeated requests, the password for the free-wifi was not provided. When we first inquired for it we were told (bluntly) that it was in the 'booklet in the accommodation'. When we informed that there was no such booklet we were made to feel that it was our inability to find it. Later when we inquired again we were told that it was written on the 'back of the remote' - no password was written on the back of any of the three remotes that were in the unit. As there is no way of communicating with the reception without walking up to it (about 100m away with no lighting in the dark) we gave up asking for the password. No attempt was made by staff to come and look for the elusive 'booklet' or later 'remote' and no apology was offered at any point; on the contrary, we were made to feel that we were being a nuisance by asking for this. We always ensure availability of wifi when making bookings - therefore this was very disappointing.
