Wonderful

Liked: Everything! Charming, clean, nicely decorated and very comfortable bed and pillows.
Disliked: No elevator because it’s an old building. But other than that, best hotel we’ve stayed at in NZ!

Suprisingly good discovery. Would stay...

Liked: Only utilised accommodation - no food - due to our travel schedule.Was a real pleasant surprise. Lovely ground floor room with excellent shower and bathroom.Limited interaction with staff but the check in lady was lovelyConcerned that it might be noisy from floor above but not the case
Disliked: Advertised as early check in - after 11. Advised that it would need to be after 2pm. Was offered as after 12 on the day before we traveled.Would have had a drink and bite to eat but nothing open until 4pm

Unexpected in a very positive...

Liked: No breakfast, location suited us, we felt safe. Really liked the Art Deco style, the history and the mix of contemporary refurbishments plus retaining the original quality fittings. Great job.
Disliked: Nothing to criticize
