Good
Liked: Great location. Comfortable bed. Plenty of light. Well designed bathroom.
Disliked: The room had a strong odor. You could tell the cleaning staff tried to mop and cover up the smell, but it persisted. ( odor plus strong cleaning products ) Also quite cold. Could not turn up the mini split.

Wonderful place

Liked: Excellent location, comfortable space, friendly staff.
Disliked: The train traffic might be an issue for some people but we didn't have a problem with the noise.

Great location, nice room with a little bit too much noise in the building.
Liked: We were a little disappointed to find out that they no longer did a full service bed and breakfast but instead did a self-serve continental breakfast. That said, the baked goods were made in house and there was a decent selection of items. The large shared kitchen was nice and easy to use, it even had a shared fridge for guests. You really can't beat the location of the Wicker Park Inn! It was close to a train station for easy access to other ares of Chicago and was surrounded by fantastic food and interesting shops.
Disliked: The room was nicely done up and had a great shower and comfy bed with lots of space. Unfortunately the building is poorly insulated/sound proofed so we could hear every creak of the stairs, every footstep overhead, the man next door snoring and the train going by through the fireplace. While they did provide earplugs we still were bothered by the noise.
