Extremely Rude Spanish speaking front...

Liked: A place to stay near Mt Whitney
Disliked: Spanish Speaking front desk & shop lady. It’s really hard for me to understand why would any owner put such a horrendous person to communicate with to be their first representative as a hotel? She is RUDE. Like SO RUDE. Me and my bf stayed there while visiting the Sierras; each time we tried to give our turn to deal with this lady when we are checking in. Its was so troubling really we were avoiding her all the time. Yet of course when you need something and if she is the one in front; you have to communicate with her which is extremely uncomfortable because basically she doesn’t listen, she cuts your sentences while you are speaking with hand gestures and all. Of course never smiles. We felt like we were burden for this woman. (Which we probably are) one time we arrived at 2 pm and before she does anything she was trying to reject our possible 1 hour early entry. Eventually my boyfriend (who has less trauma to deal with such problematic people) asked her veeeeery kindly and softly if any room was available for us to go in 1. Hour early. She let us in. Eventually we saw that nobody was in the hotel around that time. This is someone probably struggled in her life and became a control freak gestapo like robot. Please we will come to this hotel next summer again as we usually do every summer. This woman is a nightmare for us to handle. It’s extremely unpleasant, I am kindly begging owners to put her work behind the desks. We love this hotel, and don’t want to be tortured with rudeness. please, consider this request.

Disliked: Too small. Too close to highway and only had bunk beds.

Liked: Staff was very accommodating to our late night arrival. The room was inexpensive and appropriate for the good night's sleep we were hoping for. No bells and whistles, just a comfortable place to sleep for the night.
Disliked: Balcony floor tiles are loose and cracking. Didn't affect our stay though.

A great value and location.

Liked: Very clean and tidy. Staff was friendly.
