Lovely place to stay

Liked: Our Dinner was excellent as was my Haddock for breakfast. Freindly and helpful staff. Lots of parking and lovely garden.
Disliked: The duvet was a bit of a strange object although the bed was very comfortable. Rather slow opening the gates at the entrance of the hotel, plus the bar tender kept disappearing.

Fantastic, characterful hotel for a...

Liked: Beautiful and characterful old mansion set in fantastic, peaceful grounds. Good food and lots of spaces to sit for a chat with friends and family. Secure carparking and delightful staff.Well equipped and very comfortable bedrooms.
Disliked: Restaurant food prices were good for the quality of the food served. But wine and bar prices felt very high.

Disliked: Beds very uncomfortable. Room was too warm, we did use the fan provided. Plug in bath needs seeing too as its faulty. Bloodspots on bathroom floor. Damp smell coming from bathroom
