Lovely, peaceful place to stay

Liked: Lovely and peaceful place to stay in beautiful surroundings on our way to Manchester. Our room was exceptionally clean with great attention to detail and the breakfast which was included was excellent. It was great to be able to bring our dog and we took a lovely walk down to the canal from there. In the evening we ate in a great pub in a pretty village nearby which we walked to in ten minutes . All in all, very good value for money and a very restful stay.

Liked: I liked the location, room was big and comfortable. The host accommodated breakfast to our dietary requirements and it was delicious, and accommodated bedding to my husband's allergies. The bathroom was clean and there were a lot of towels available which was also nice.The minus was that the room door didn't close, shower doors didn't close completely, they were broken and there were dust webs in a few places. Overall the stay was really nice and I recommend this place

Liked: Lovely comfortable room, nice to listen to the birds in the surrounding trees and look out to a lovely view of the countryside. Breakfast was great, too.
