The most terrible hotel experience

Liked: This hotel is a scam. The photos on the site are no where close to the tired, old, dirty, worn out status of this place. This, in which booking.com is an accomplice, is "false advertising" and I intend to denounce them to the "hotel assciation". I stayed there 1 week and from day one had to complain about the cleaning: no maid room service (I was told you have to ask for it!?!l) and although I did "every morning" my bed was sort of made twice, my towels were changed 3 times but my room/bathroom were never cleaned!!This is a basic/standard amenity in any hotel around the world.The only thing this hotel has going for it is the "location"!!As far as I am concerned it should be shut down.

Disliked: No soap in shower, breakfast was lacking and hot breakfast was extra which was not stated when booking, extortionate deposit upon arrival, old mattress and uncomfortable

You get what you pay...

Liked: Bit shabby....room was OK. You get what you pay for. breakfast....oh dear. Most people we saw went to waitrose up the street. Really poor breakfast. Do it properly or just don't bother.Floors were squeeky everywhere with mis-matched carpets. £70 refundable deposit? Im not keen on that idea, maybe theyve had issues in the past?? No lift unfortunately. Staff were pleasant to end on a positive 😀
