Comfortable, clean, quiet and quaint...

Liked: I loved the old style building features like the little butler pantry (small sink and bar area with a small refrigerator), the fireplace and the lovely common sitting areas for happy hour and breakfast. All real glassware and plates. Location and valet parking.

Liked: Liked the size of the room. Liked the happy hour. Staff was friendly and helpful, and they gave us a one-hour delay for our checkout which we appreciated.
Disliked: A few things weren't working -- the toilet, most importantly, which we had to fiddle with by removing the cover and then flush very carefully each time. And a couple of small light bulbs were out. We alerted the desk to both these things but they weren't fixed.

Disliked: We both sneezed and has sore, red eyes in the mornings after sleeping in the room. I cut the bottom of my right foot on a sliver of broken glass on the bedroom floor. It embedded in my foot.

Liked: Great location. Nice rooms. Nice staff. Very close to access to cable car. Good value for money.
Disliked: Breakfast could be better - only colds (except for porridge) mostly sweets are served. Some eggs etc would be useful to add. Elevator sometimes cannot be called due to open doors on other floors - more instruction how to handle could be helpful. Info that the Italian restaurant next door serves to rooms is not accurate.
