We would love to stay...
Liked: Breakfast was okay but I would have liked some protein e.g cheese. Freshly baked scones were delicious. Happy hour was a great way to meet fellow guests and much enjoyed. The hotel has a very welcoming atmosphere.
Disliked: The lighting in our bedroom was very poor

Very nice!
Liked: Hotel location is very good. We loved the design of the hotel and it was really clean. Team was friendly and helpful. Our only recommendation is abouy breakfast. Adding a savoury option to the menu would be great.

Sweet comfortable inn with personality!
Liked: The big room, windows that open, fireplace, quirky decor
Disliked: Breakfast food. I don’t eat wheat so those delicious looking croissants don’t count.

Superb
Liked: The White Swan Inn is a delightful older hotel. A bit like someone's favorite spinster great-aunt, she is showing her age a bit, but in such a way that it only adds to the ambiance. The breakfast/happy hour room is comfy and the breakfast was well presented. The White Swan reminded me very many of hotels I have stayed in in Europe. A hotel snob who wants everything to be "state of the art" might be disappointed, but I was more than pleased. The functional fireplace in the room (gas insert) added a lovely touch.
