In the center of Alnwick this 300-year-old coaching inn is a short walk from Alnwick Castle and Gardens. Its restaurant's decor was salvaged from the Titanic's sister ship. Free parking is available. The bedrooms all have a private bathroom with a hairdryer and bathroom amenities. Guests can also enjoy a seating area and tea/coffee making facilities in each room. Some rooms are pet-friendly. The Olympic Suite restaurant offers an à la carte menu and has stained glass windows from the RMS ship. Hardy's proposes a more informal experience with its bar and bistro menu. Exceptional

Liked: Everything the room was warm , clean, with Tea and Coffee supplied.
Disliked: The choice for breakfast was Continental and Cooked.The cooked breakfast was self-service with plenty of choice, i.e., Bacon Sausage, beans etc etc which was just warm and could have been hotter. Otherwise, everything was fine

We really looked forward to...

Liked: We picked as previously for the location.
Disliked: When we have stayed before there was a breakfastmenu,not this time (choice of eggs etc not just fried)A buffet breakfast which was fine on Saturday but Sunday we had to ask staff to refresh most items.
