Fanastic fun place to stay

Multiple prior stays, all good...

Good value motel close to...

Liked: The room was clean, the outside of the motel was cute- loved the flamingos. The bed was very comfortable and the staff was friendly and sweet. It was located close to White Sands NP and they have sleds you can borrow for the dunes. They have breakfast but I didn't go so can't comment. It was also on the side of town closest to the Dunes and across the street from a Starbucks. This was a good value for the money and I would stay here again.
Disliked: The walls are a bit thin (or else the guy in the room next to me was just very loud on his phone) and the heat/AC unit didn't have a constant fan to drown it out so if you are a light sleeper bring earplugs. The shower was fine but small and water was hot and good pressure. It's a motel bathroom so it's not unusual. Just good to know if you need more room.

Liked: Excellent choice. Spacious and clean rooms. Even more important: very friendly and helpful people which had good information on local restaurants, where to go and what to do.

A great location and kind...

Liked: The location to White Sands. The free sleds for the park. The cleanliness of the rooms
Disliked: Super thin walls

Exceptional

Liked: Friendly owner, very clean rooms, good sound proofing, great location, and we especially loved the ability to grab a sled and head to white sands without having to worry about opening times or lines for rentals at the visitor center.
Disliked: The only negative was the small shower. Everything else was great. Good value for a well-maintained room.

Great and then some

Liked: Very clean and hip motel. Love the decorations. Best sign in the city. Free breakfast. Free sleds for the dunes. Smoking area away from other guests was great for everyone.
Disliked: Beds could be a little better.
