As good as possible

Liked: This is as good as it gets in an outdated building. The obvious shortcomings were counterbalanced by the helpful and welcoming staff, the well-cooked breakfast, and the position, which is simply perfect to enjoy Llandudno. The room was more spacious than I expected and generally clean. The bathroom was tiny but re-done recently (the heating system, too, looked new and worked well).
Disliked: The building is outdated and shows signs of age, with its narrow, steep staircase, worn-out wallpaper and furniture, breakfast room in the basement, stained old curtains, etc. Breakfast could have been more varied, but what was there was good.

What to expect.

Liked: Location good. Breakfast great.
Disliked: Room was really small, also it said check in at 2pm. Got there can't check in till 2.30. Restaurant was closed which didn't find out till in room. Plastic sheet on side said it's closed. Big disappointment. Wallpaper in room was peeling at the top. No seating to relax in if not in room. Half of seating area closed off . Was not worth the £145 I paid. Hardly any staff about. Best thing was breakfast. Would not recommend. Needs updating, and staff sorted. If I could get small refund I would.

Disliked: Struggled with the small shower.
