Disliked: There 35 steps for me to get to my room a82 heR old found it very difficult it's the second time I have booked with where stairs area problem may been you could mention stair to avoid this problem

Nice stay at this hotel,...

Liked: I had both dinner and breakfast at the hotel, both of which were nice and good value- I did have a quick walk around near the hotel and nothing was open to eat at- well maybe 1 pub but I am not sure they served food! Room was clean and tidy and had everything I needed. Staff were friendly.
Disliked: Breakfast was nicely cooked but expected toast and it came with potato (I didn't read the menu properly and made the wrong assumption) Coffee was not great. Both meals I asked for water and got a tiny glass- be great to get a big jug. The town was completely dead but i was there for work trip so not an issue for me.

Liked: The staff were all very helpful and nice.

Liked: Parking, central location. Good breakfast. Most staff helpful and polite. Bath provided as requested. Nice bar area.
Disliked: Although staff polite and helpful when asked no one was proactive at breakfast time to see if you wanted more coffee or toast etc. . Hotel rooms very hot until heating turned off. Bed was very soft.

Relaxing 2 day break

Liked: Breakfast freshly cooked to order, plenty of choice. We were given the external annexe room, which suited us well, self contained, with mini fridge, microwave and tea making facilities.
Disliked: Nothing, all good.

Awful stay never again

Liked: The bed was so uncomfortable non of us got a decent sleep in fact both of us now have serious back ache .pillows were terrible. Not enough clear available power sockets in the room. Very creeky floors. Awful steep stairs to get to the room. No lift. People were talking in the corridor very late at night. Our room faced a back alleyway so Saturday night there was so much noise outside couldn't get to sleep until 3am awful. Had to have window open as I am asthmatic and room was very warm. Limited staff at night bar as it was more open to the public. The hotel is falling apertThe ceiling was literally falling down outside our door.
