Comfy and cosy place of...

Liked: Room was comfy, warm and cosy. this is an old building so expect a few creaks and distressed woodwork as you would a building of this age. It is not super modern like some places, but I prefer to stay in places with character.Everything worked as expected, plenty of hot water and a bath. TV, hairdryer, spare fan and ironing facilities. Liked the fact there was a dressing table with mirror, close to a plug socket to dry your hair.Breakfast was piping hot and service was excellent. they also have cereal and Yoghurt on request. didn't stay for dinner, but looked good and they have lots of regular locals, so must be good.
Disliked: nothing i didn't like

Liked: Everything about this hotel is gold standard. The food is incredible, a few years ago the chef was amazing then he left and another chef started and the food went terrible but since my last stay in January 24 the food is amazing again thanks to its new chef, it truly makes a huge difference when the food is cooked amazing 👏 thank you chef!
Disliked: I paid for a superior room but when checking in they couldn't give me one so had a standard but was lovely.

Liked: The guy who checked us in was super friendly and helpful. Breakfast included and yummy. Comfy rooms. Great location. Nice beers on. Big towels.
