Liked: THE BED, as well as having a unique charm, is the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in - including my own at home ! We had the Roanoke room. The breakfasts were excellent. The location is an easy walk to the marina and a few restaurants. The wine and nibbles (included) in the late afternoon was a great way to meet and talk to other guests.
Disliked: It was a bit awkward to carry suitcases up to the third floor on a narrow staircase, it would not have suited anyone with mobility problems. However I’m sure the owners/staff would have carried anything if asked. There is also a ground floor room.

Liked: Location; history; first floor suite with private entrance.
Disliked: Plumbing issue (leak from above); however, innkeeper was on top of it. Plumber had been there earlier during the week and it appeared everything was repaired.

Wonderful introduction to the Outer...

Liked: This was our first visit to the Outer Banks. The location of the Inn in Manteo is beautiful. Away from the hustle of the tourism in the area yet close enough to enjoy all the OBX has to offer.

Liked: I love the ambiance, the room we stayed in was very nicely put and very clean. I also love the nice scents in the room, the robes, the beddings. They smell great and clean! The food was also good! I love the outdoor dining area. Very romantic! Will come back again for the 3rd time.
Disliked: I didnt like the Halloween displays. I dont like witches and ghosts. The last time we went in December where there were nice Christmas decorations. I love that! Also, when we were checking out and wanted to purchase a cup there wasnt a staff on site. There was also some confusions on our bill because of the gift certificate that we have that didnt get deducted from our bills.
