Lovely hotel, though would suggest...

Liked: Hotel was lovely and welcoming in all public spaces. Breakfast good and serving staff great, very quick and friendly . Great parking around the back of hotel. Great location, very near to city centre.
Disliked: Single room was extremely small. Smelt damp on arrival, although I either got used to it or it got better. Opened the window immediately. Single bed and mattress was either poor quality or just very soft, no support. Very small TV. Television screen was broken on arrival ( green lines on screen) and TV had not been replaced by my departure ( I had my phone and laptop with me so could watch TV on those).

Liked: Good breakfast and big rooms nice deep bath although a tad tiny. Communal areas are nice and cosy especially with the fire on. Would stay here again.
Disliked: Duvet a bit heavy and stiff was a little uncomfortable and for very warm. Loved the bay window but felt uneasy having it open to cool the room with being on the ground floor and near the street. Shower dripped constantly which was loud on a night and a bit annoying when in the bath.

Liked: Lovely hotel, great location, nice large room, comfy beds, great bar and good drinks prices, great breakfast, would definitely stay here again

Fabulous stay

Liked: excellent reception staff, couldn't do any more for a customer. Fabulous restaurant team and breakfast and coffee were excellent. I will be back.
Disliked: Lift would be useful
