Liked: Location
Disliked: No place to sit. Murphy bed was supposed to double as couch ( perhaps for 20 year olds, not for senior citizens). Some of the staff was rather surly when complained about lack of seating and size of room. The bed was rather uncomfortable. The pillows were good. No cups in bathroom. Towels were good. Cleaning staff was friendly. We left a nice tip for her but I wonder if she got it because as soon as we came down with our luggage someone immediately went up to our room. By the way, there was a building blackout about an hour before we left so we had to walk up three flights with packages. The hotel was chosen by us because the photos were appealing, but did not represent the room in any way. Not a horrible experience but compared to other hotels we have been to, this was a very sub-par hotel and should be avoided.

Liked: Great location/cost for Miami Beach - the beach is one block away - close to a lot of things. Very clean - spacious
Disliked: This was my 2nd stay at the Westoer Arms Hotel.The street corner was very loud with construction - this is not the hotel's fault but was kind of unexpected since it wasn't as loud the first time I stayed there.

Nice location, dated room, rude...

Liked: Good location close to beach.
Disliked: There was no chair in the ‘deluxe studio’, only 2 kitchen stools. This is despite the info given in booking.com. One member of staff was just rude when I said I wasn’t happy with the room. He said it was ‘tough’. Apparently the old sofa bed could be made into a sofa. I wouldn’t have been able to do that. This is totally unacceptable.

Disliked: There was no hot water, and when called about it was promised to take asap, but had to call three times to get done, and even after fixing wasn't good NOT EVEN A IM SORRY

Liked: Rooms are very spacious and clean. Staff is accommodating and friendly. Location is excellent

Exceptional

Liked: The room is big and equipped with kitchenette like fridge, cooking stove, microwave, cofeee machine and blender and all the necessary appliances for an easy stay. Location is great as there is beach, pharmacy and many restaurants round the corner. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Overall I had a great stay and would choose it again for my next return.

Liked: The location was good since I was mainly visiting to go to the Convention center. It was pretty close and there was a CVS across the street of I needed anything. The room was very big with a full kitchen.
Disliked: The night staff appeared to not see me at the door when I arrived. I called and watched him ignore the call through the window. He only opened the door when I tapped on the window as he was looking at the phone. When I left to checkout, he was on the couch in the lobby fast asleep and snoring so I didn't get a final invoice. The daytime staff gave me a once-over and barely said hello the next morning.The entrance really should have a ramp or something. Having to drag or carry luggage up the entrance steps is no fun.
