Liked: We arrived and it was very difficult to park, there was a wedding or similar function on so the entire hotel was extremely busy, it was noisy and there was loud music into the night. This doesn’t normally bother me but we arrived late and was leaving early in the morning for our event ( before 7am) The next night was much better, we managed to see the bar area and chose to sit in there for a while instead of the room. The room was nice but was on the small side and only had one chair which wasn’t ideal for 2 adults. The actual building was lovely and was well kept.

Liked: The beds were very very comfortable. The dark carpet didn't give me the confidence about it being clean enough to walk around without shoes. Might just be me though. And the room felt very tiny. It just about fit one double bed

I wouldn’t stay again.

Liked: The food at night and breakfast was quite good. However, the rooms we had were very tired not very clean and mine was smelly needing the window open. Bed was clean but the carpet was mucky, en-suite ok, but just ok. I guess if you pay more you would get a better room, BUT even the budget rooms should be clean.
Disliked: Beer was pricey for such a scruffy hotel.
