Short relaxing overnight stay.

Liked: Oldie worldy. Quiet, well placed for our stopover
Disliked: Would have been nice to be able to take our little dog in the restaurant, the bar wasn’t very comfortable to have meals.

A historic manor, in need...

Liked: A beautiful old manor in a small town, it felt historic. The staff were all very helpful & welcoming. The garden looked pretty and the big leaded windows were lovely.
Disliked: The food was disappointing- a pizza from the freezer, filter coffee, no muesli or granola at breakfast. The building seemed tired - wobbly bannisters, stained lampshades, no lift.

A night away

Liked: Food in restaurant was excellent, all staff polite and helpful
Disliked: Rooms are dated and would benefit from refurb

Exceptional

Liked: Liked the hotel building history and communication with the hotel. Hotel was very comfortable with a very good Sunday lunch. Staff were friendly and interested. Ambience was very good. It's location to our family's home in The Paddocks, Bulkington, was perfect and walkable. So a perfect weekend with Nov 5th w/e fireworks too.
Disliked: Bath panel was loose and was reported for attention.
