Everything was great except the...

Liked: Location and our room was lovely
Disliked: The food was poor , we had both dinner and breakfast . Quality of food was bad. We had fish and chips for dinner , I’m guessing frozen - was tasteless Breakfast - full Scottish breakfast was poor too , sausage tasted bad and potato scone was fried beyond recognition - not what I expect from a Scottish hotel .

Liked: Wonderful service from the staff. The room was comfortable and modern. The food - both evening meal and breakfast - was excellent.

Two day stay

Liked: Friendly staff, great views, bit of a steep climb up from main street, comfortable bed, shower over bath, only problem we had was the room was exceptionally hot and you weren't allowed to adjust heating, cold fan available which we had to use other than that we enjoyed our stay.

Liked: The view from our room we weren't expecting a sea view and it was quite breath taking
Disliked: The cooked breakfast I feel this should be made to order as by the time I sat down to eat it was stone cold and some of the food items were soggy and the scramble egg was just a hard lump at the bottom of the baymarie.
