Lovely hotel; would defo visit again; breakfast was fantastic.

Liked: We were made very welcome and the staff were tremendous.
Disliked: Sofa bed for an adult is a no - I did not feel relaxed after sleeping on the sofa bed.

Good stay

Liked: Comfortable room all facilities as you would expect. Good selection of single malts in the bar.
Disliked: Wi-Fi not very good but in a 5g area so mobile data was fine

Liked: Staff and food could not be faulted. Nice little touches of homemade biscuits and water in the room.
Disliked: N/A

Liked: The decor was fantastic and the Christmas decorations were beautiful.
Disliked: Nothing we couldn’t fault it at all. We loved it!

I was there 2017 and...

Liked: Liked the location, the building as it is and the car park. Liked the breakfast even if it is not a buffe and liked the hot coffee in the morning.
Disliked: Bed and the bed sheets, the bathroom need some updates. Very cold floor in the bathroom. They must put a minibar at least to save some cold drinks inside.

Would definitely use the restaurant...

Liked: Excellent menu in the restaurant for breakfast and lunch. Staff-friendly and attentive
Disliked: Didn't like having to walk in the rain between the room and the main hotel reception and restaurant. The room service was very variable. Sometimes nearly non-existent. Used the bathrobes on the first evening which I hung on the towel radiator in the bathroom as there were no hooks. These were remove the next morning and no replacements provided. I did ask reception the day after to replace them which they said they would but that never happened.

Friendly staff, great food, cracking...

Liked: I have stayed at the Hotel many times over the years and it never fails to deliver such a lovely experience. The staff are just simply exceptional and make you feel so welcome every time. The breakfast is amazing. There is such a positive atmosphere about the hotel and you get the feeling that the staff really are a team that enjoys working there. It's so nice to see, as I spend a lot of my time in hotels and it's not always the case. Look forward to seeing you again next year!
