Liked: Loved everything.Beautiful decor.Hosts went over and above to make our stay enjoyable.Great location for short bus trip into centre of York.Amazing breakfast menu.

Superb

Liked: Really experienced hosts who go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Lovely tea and scones on arrival served in the guest lounge. Beautiful breakfast cooked to order, and they did a wonderful job catering to our gluten-free requirements. The bus stop is only 2 mins walk from the guest house into York city.
Disliked: My partner found the bed uncomfortable, but I found it to be fine. Depends what you like!

Liked: I had a very good stay. The hosts are very friendly and helpful.The house is a few miles south of York, but there is a bus, the 415, that stops outside the house that will take you into the middle of the city. All was very good.
Disliked: Nothing to dislike

Great location and good bus...

Liked: A perfect spot for easy travel into York.the bus only took 20 minutes to the centre of York
Disliked: The owners Hillary and Paul couldn’t have made use more welcome.the breakfast was fantastic.

Very enjoyable, nothing too much...

Liked: Breakfast and hosts attention wonderful
Disliked: Unfortunately I found my mattress a little lumpy.Think we would have preferred one of the other rooms but as we required twin beds it was the only room available
