A relaxing and rejuvenating time!...

Liked: The property is beautifully landscaped and the buildings are set apart from each other so there’s a sense of spaciousness with gorgeous, lush common areas. I LOVED the very low exterior lighting. Just enough to see where the garden borders are but not so much that the stars were blocked out. I loved that there were pet waste stations all over the place; it really gave a vibe that my dog was welcome there. The “partial river view” from my room was only “partial” because the river is half hidden by a terraced garden, which was not a problem for me at all; not like if it was blocked by another building. The view was beautiful! Incredible value for money!
Disliked: It’s just a bit old and the interior finishes could do with some updating but that’s not anything to “dislike”, necessarily. The room had a little bit of a musty smell when I arrived but it cleared out once I had the air running for a bit and opened the windows. The only real issue I had with the room was that the aircon unit is very loud so I had to turn it off at night to be able to sleep. In very hot or very cold weather, this could be an issue for people who are noise-sensitive in this way.

We came to Hood River...

Liked: We had a nice, quiet room with an excellent view of the river. It was a good location. The king bed was comfortable. It was large and spacious with a small kitchenette area so that we could make tea or microwave popcorn in the evening. There was a full size fridge for our convenience as well.
Disliked: The shower stall in the bathroom felt cramped but otherwise clean. We had plenty of hot water. We wished there could have been an easy chair in the living space so we wouldn't have to always sit on the bed to watch TV or read. The pillows with the bed were quite hard and lumpy. And we were a little surprised by how small the TV screen was.

Liked: took the room with balcony to the river, was just great and met all expectations. when you choose a room, take a room that face the river, pay a bit extra, you do not want to face the road
Disliked: all was just great, wish they woudl have a small bar to sit at nigh next to the water
