We just felt unwelcome

Disliked: The reception staff on duty were very cold and unhelpfulIt clearly stated in the information that the bar was open until 11pm. However that was not the case, we returned to the hotel after a meal out at 9:30pm, the bar was closed and we were told that the bartender had gone home as it was quiet! There were a lot of unhappy guests that wanted a nightcap too, they went to the hotel nearby for their nightcap. The staff were totally insincere in there response to us as if they couldn’t care less! Very disappointing!

Disliked: Service beyond poor. Vastly over priced.Refused coffee and drinks service at 10pm when it should have continued to 11pm as they closed it down because it was quiet. Staff unapologetic and unhelpful.Much better value and service at other Aldeburgh hotels - try White Lion and Brudenell.
